Ok. So now, it's CocoRosie's turn. What to say about them? They are so fantastic! They have an incredible sense of creativity and originality. I think nothing compares to their work, they are unique.
I don't want to dwell much on their history, cause there's a section for that, but I'm just going to make some important points:
CocoRosie is a musical group formed in 2003 by sisters Bianca "Coco" and Sierra "Rosie" Casady. The sisters were born and raised in the United States, but formed the band in Paris after meeting for the first time in years.
They have released four full-length albums: La maison de mon rêve (2004), Noah's Ark (2005), The Adventures of Ghosthorse and Stillborn (2007), and Grey Oceans (2010). And soon they'll release a new album called Tales of a Grass Widow on May 27th.
Their music has been called "freak folk", and incorporates elements of pop, blues, opera, electronica, and hip hop.

La maison de mon rêve (English: The house of my dream) is the first album by CocoRosie, released on March 9, 2004 by Touch and Go Records. It was re-released in Australia in 2007, including a bonus track, "Beautiful Boyz".
Bianca and Sierra Casady had first decided on making just a few copies of the album, intending to distribute it solely to some friends. However, they were persuaded by Touch & Go Records to release it under their label.
